Nail Tutorial - The Band.

Hi guys, hope you are all well :) today is a quick little nail tutorial for you guys, and this time i remembered photographs! So no more strange little illustrations :P haha.

Anyway read more if you want to see how to get this look :D

Ok so first things first: Base coat :) I used Essie's Eternal Optimist (seriously the most perfect nude colour, another great nude is Revlon Nude Chic 998) as a base on top of Sally Hansen Diamond Shine Base and Top Coat

This part is best done the DAY BEFORE, because the next step is to add press on french manicure guides at the top of your nail. Your nails have to be SUPER dry otherwise, if you're impatient like me, this happens when you pull them off...

OH NO!

You RUIN the base coat :'(

So, little impatient me decided to skip the base coat and go right on ahead :)
Ok, so next up you want to stick on those little french manicure guides at the TOP of your nails :) Like so:

Ignore the messy stickers :P
The good thing about the guides is that you can just reuse them :)

Ok, so next, just paint the nail underneath the sticker the desired colour, on one hand i chose orange and blue/green and on the other i chose bright pink and baby blue :)
Wait for the nail varnish to dry and then remove the sticker.

Finish with a base coat, and VOILA, you're done :)

BEAUTIFUL.

Here are the colours i used :)
Barry M

Revlon 320 Ocean Breeze
Sally Hansen Diamond shine base coat and top coat

Hope you guys enjoyed that!

Let me know if you guys did any fun colour combinations or interesting base coat colours!

xo Lauren :)
