Mini Haul

Mini Haul - Topshop & New Look

Top Shop - £30
I love this top! I wore it to the Florence & The Machine Concert me and Lauren went to with 2 of our friends and I paired it with my Zara black leggings and my Leather Jacket from Topshop with my Brogues from New Look. I was feeling in a very edgy mood that night, hence why I was wearing a lot of black. But this top can be worn day or night, which is why I love it so much and why I paid such a ridiculous amount for it ;)

Dress - New Look £21
I realize this isn't the best/most flattering photo of this dress but  it looks A LOT better on. Its not quite a navy colour - its more of a dark blue. I also love the detail where the waist is as it's just something a little bit different and unique and really cute!! When I was buying this I was really feeling spring, as it's been sunny and warm here recently, and it put me in a really girly pretty mood, hence why I bought this cute dress :)

Cream Cardigan - New Look £25
And last but not least, I bought this long cream cardigan from New Look's knitwear collection. I just really wanted something to wear when it's quite warm and sunny, but just a tad chilly, and I don't want to wear my leather jacket ALL the time (even though I love it to bits :P )

Lol me posing ridiculously with the dress and cardigan on ;)

So I hope you enjoyed my mini haul! It's just a small one because I've been waiting to get paid etc so I haven't really being buying much. Thank youuuu!!

A Quiet Monday

Just popped into town and got a few things, some violet pigmented shampoo to try and reduce the brassiness of my hair, if it works well I'll try and do a review on it :) I also got a skull bralet type top from Topshop to wear under loose tops with giant arm holes etc. Its actually really nice and was £12, pretty reasonable for Topshop i think.

This afternoon i've been chilling in the sunshine (so nice to be able to say that now!)

Blossom in the garden

Enjoying a mocha

Catching up on H&M's new collections and being addicted to my iPad

Only two more to go until i see the finale of Pretty Little Liars season 2!

Superdrug haul!!!! WOOOOO

hey hey there chums,

So, as promised here is a look at what i purchased online from Superdrug, they were doing free shipping because its coming up to Mothers Day, so of course i got the mother a little something too ;) BUT i can't post that because she might see!

Ok, I'm just going to upload the photos and then add a caption because whenever i write out in order about the different products the photos always end up jumbled up and its just a pain to sort out.

Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder in 001 Transparent, I've been wanting a transparent powder for a while now and seen many other bloggers using this so i thought i'd give it a go seeing as Superdrug has a 3for2 offer on Rimmel at the mo. I reallllllly like this powder, its nice a matte without being too matte, it keeps my skin glowing without making my face greasy. It also minimises the appearance of pores. I wouldn't say it lasts 5 hours like they say it does, purely in terms of pore minimising-ness, but it definitely keeps my face shine free :)

My coastal scents powder brush artily dusted with powder and sat prettily on top....haha clearly i'm bored!

MUA Heaven and Earth palette, only £3! i can't believe how cheap it is! It's as pigmented as the Naked palettes but these colours are much more purple toned than the urban decay ones.

A close up of the colours

A few random swatches of colours so you get the idea of how pigmented they are, this was a light touch i didn't have to try hard to get this colour payoff, this is a great light weight travel alternative to the naked palette (although the Naked palettes are still number 1 for me!)

Revlon Neutral Khakis 12hr Eyeshadow

I LOVE THESE. Such gorgeous colours, and the khaki (with a light hand) makes a gorgeous natural crease colour (surprising eh?? And no I'm not a green alien) with a nice gold touch to it.

Rimmel Sexy Curves mascara - AHMAHZINNNNGGGGGG DARLLLIIINNNGGG, i actually love this! For some reason i never used to go anywhere near rimmel for mascara, but I'm glad i have! They are amazing, neither of the mascaras are waterproof (which is odd for me because i usually always go for waterproof mascaras) but they don't smudge or transfer at all :)

The brush is pretty cool, its a rubber bristle brush (try saying that fast!)

I LOVE the way this works, two brushes in ONE mascara, its like magic! Really like this, as the name kind of gives away, the first brush (length) creates a lovely daytime look, with nice long lashes that are nicely 'fluffed' if that makes any sense? Maybe i'll post a photo next time i use it...
The Volume brush gives lovely thick lashes, great thickness if you don't like using false lashes :)

The Length brush

The Volume brush

And they sent me this free! It smells divine, rubs into the skin nicely but for some reason makes my hands feel sticky, but only my hands, no where else. Otherwise it's lovely :)

Hope you enjoyed that!

Vintage bags :)

Hellloooo there, today i popped into a vintage shop after the supermarket, and found two lovely little bags, the quilted leather bag is £9.50, unfortunately its not a chanel, but in fact a vintage M&S bag, but thats ok because i think its really cute! Next up is the makeup bag, that was £2.50 and is the perfect size for me, because if i'm travelling with a makeup bag any larger i seem to make it my quest to fill it with all i own... SO, hopefully this little bag should control that urge, and then maybe i won't over pack my makeup....fingers crossed.

The little makeup bag, i strangely really like this classic look, nice and simple.

Navy leather with gold metal hardware, i love this bag, its so cute! And also a good size, holds ALOT more than you would expect...

OOOOH what do we have here???
Next up on this blog will be a Superdrug Makeup spree, so come back soon for a look at what i bought and swatches :)

Best Power Lunch EVER.

Hey guys,
so today is a bit of a random post, on a quick lunch break from working on my design portfolio, just wanted to give all of UK readers a heads up on the M&S salads.
The one i have today is the Nutty grain and vegetable salad with ginger and chilli dressing. Oh my goodness, this salad is THE best salad i have ever tasted!!!!
It's my go to when I'm out and about, and we always have a few in our fridge :P They do loads of other different ones including an edamame one and a giant couscous one.

This one is made with white quinoa, broccoli, peas, poppy seeds, a variety of mixed nuts, and lots of other amazing goodness!

Hope you guys have a fabulous thursday

Lauren XOXO
