Just a quick DIY

Some DIY inspiration for our lovely readers, i have been making some cards and envelopes for friends for christmas. i used an envelope template which i altered slightly on illustrator and photoshop and then added the galaxy photos from here (some incredible photos on that site!), added font, printed it out, cut it, folded it and VOILA! there you have some unique envelopes, sure they aren't very festive but they're so sparkly i think i can get away with it ;)

As you can see I'm already living in the onesie!
Hope you enjoyed that! Got a quick little pictorial DIY on how i took off the gem from the necklace, I'm also going to be dyeing a pair of my cheap monday second skin skinny jeans that are a strange blue colour into hopefully a nice dark green! I'll do a post on that later!

Peanut Butter Ices for dogs

Hugo our frenchie LOVES peanut butter! Absolutely loves it. He also likes ice, so i decided to combine the two to make a delicious treat for him.

Step 1:

Peanut Butter (smooth or crunchy)
Ice cube tray

Put a small splodge of peanut butter into each cube compartment.

Step 2:

Add water....

Step 3:

Put in the freezer!

Step 4:

Wait.

Maybe make yourself a peanut butter sandwich while you wait?

Once they're done, I'll let you know what Hugo thought of them!

Zara, H&M & DIY

Zara Denim Jacket - £29.99
This jacket is from Zara's TRF collection and I literally have not stopped wearing it!! I usually roll up the sleeves, but I put them down for the photo :)
I'm really happy with the quality and the fit of the jacket as well.

H&M Guns & Roses Top - £9.99
I really wanted this top for summer to pair with my Levi shorts - I thought it would look really cool :P
Aha lol I like Guns & Roses as well which is a plus :)
I found the sizing was rather large though - I'm usually a UK 8 or 10 in tops but I had to go down to a size 6 for this top. But yeah, I CAN'T WAIT to wear this on holiday this summer :D

Zara Paint-Effect Denim Shorts - £22.99
This shorts fit me SO well!! I was really surprised because usually shorts are too tight around the thigh on me - but these are like the perfect fit! I really like how arty they are as well with the paint-splattered effect on them :) These are from the TRF collection as well.

H&M Pink Floyd Top - £9.99
I got this for summer as well - at the moment I've been wearing it underneath my denim jacket and denim shirt as it's still chilly here in England :(

DIY SHORTS
So these are my DIY shorts that I started in August 2011 and then completely forgot about them and then rediscovered them when I was sorting through my clothes a couple weeks ago. I basically just cut up a pair of old jeans that I wasn't going to wear again and then I soaked them in bleach over night. Once they had dried, I got a pair of scissors and tweezers and started fraying them and cutting holes in them. This was when I forgot about them :P but a couple of weeks ago I added some silver pyramid studs (bought off eBay) to the back pocket and to the front pocket just to add a bit of edge to them and make them a bit cooler looking :P And now they are finally  finished :D

DIY SHORTS - Studded detail on the back pocket.

I hope you guys enjoyed my mini haul and DIY attempt :)

The best breakfast ever!

Heyyy, so this morning, the sun was out and shining and it really feels like spring (just colder). So i thought i would have a 'springy' breakfast.

You will need:
Waffle
Greek Yoghurt/Yoghurt of your choice
Fruit - I used one banana
Syrup - I used golden syrup

1. Toast your waffle in the toaster
2. Put some syrup over the waffle (not too much!)
3. Add the yoghurt, and spread all over
4. Cut up your fruit and sprinkle over the top
5. Finish with a dollop of syrup :)

The greek yoghurt was really nice with the golden syrup, it took the bitter edge off it :)

Have a great Saturday!

Individual False Eyelashes

After discovering this video on youtube from the wonderful MUA Lisa Eldridge, i decided to give individual lashes a try. These ones are by Ardell and are in both the short and medium length, i used the clear Duo eyelash glue and followed the same technique as Eldridge :)

The Video:
The finished look:

I love how it's super natural, and much less obvious than strip lashes :)

All in all, these are really quick and easy to apply, and i LOVE the overall effect, very natural with a pretty almost 'fluffy' finish :)

Love these, everyone should give them a go!

Black and Gold

Hey everyone,

Thought i would post another nail tutorial, this time with black and gold nail varnish to give a modern take on a french tip :)

Les Nudes Geometric

Geometric Nude Nails
Hey guys, sorry we haven't updated our blog in a while, we have been on holiday to Ibiza (we'll write a post about that soooon ;) ) But today I was a bit bored and thought about experimenting with my nude nail varnishes and try and make them a bit more interesting to look at on the nails. SO, I used a Barry M white nail varnish, a KIKO nail varnish in 220 Satin Beige and a KIKO nail varnish in 322 Caffe Latte.
To start I just applied a different colour to each individual nail, sort of as a base colour. For example, on the thumb nail I used the white colour. Next, I just went a bit crazy and added the colours in mainly straight lines and boxes etc. If you want you could use even more colours ;)    And that's how I spent my afternoon :P  I hope you like this idea and try it out for yourselves. Send us some pictures of your own designs, we'd love to see them! :)

My favourite Nude Nail varnishes at the moment :)
I thought I would also show you guys my FAVOURITE nude colours at the moment. From left  to right (little finger to thumb): ELF in Mod Mauve; Collection 2000 in Milkshake; KIKO in 322 Caffe Latte; KIKO in 220 Satin Beige; Collection 2000 in Fruit Loop.
They are all really good prices as well. Unfortunately I don't think KIKO has any shops in England... but they do in Italy and Spain and I think you should be able to order online as well.

My favourite Nude Nail Varnishes at the moment - close up shot ;)

DIY Friendship bands/bracelets/ribbons

HEY HEY guys, so i was lying in bed and thought it would be cool to give my friend a bracelet so we had matching ones i.e. a FRIENDSHIP BRACELET. But lets be honest, i couldn't be arsed to sit there and magically plait some thread together to create some kind of amazing piece of 'bracelet art' (sorry Amy- who shall be receiving this 'lazy person's friendship bracelet', and Elise you will be receiving one when i next see you.) But lets be honest, the meaning behind the bracelet is more important than the type of bracelet :P So lets get started shall we?

Summer Leopard Print Nails :D

Hey everyone, hope you're enjoying our lovely British Summertime..... To cheer myself up from all the drizzle outside i decided to create some cool leopard print nails using the new Konad set that i bought myself off Ebay a few days ago :) Unfortunately i forgot to take photos of me doing it step by step!! :( SO, i improvised and drew a step by step guide on my iPad :) so excuse the crappyness... Unfortunately i STILL don't have photoshop transferred from my old laptop to my new one so its not a very good guide :( But oh well!
