Eau Thermale Avène Review

So for my birthday I got a few of the Avène products. I am very happy with them and will definitely be buying them in the future when I run out of my current stock. They are a bit on the pricey side, but if you have sensitive skin like me, they are perfect. I have to be careful in electing face care products as I can get eczema on my lips, so I need very natural products. The Avène range has given me no problems at all and it leaves my skin feeling very soft and it feels very light on the skin as opposed to other creams that leave your skin feeling greasy. I believe you can buy the range at 'Boots' in the UK, but I am not sure how to get hold of them/where to buy them anywhere else.

To conclude, I would definitely recommend buying this range if your skin is very sensitive like mine.

Beauty Products Haul

LUSH, Barry M, Body Shop & Boots

Hey guys!
Last week I decided that it was time to get some new beauty products as I had basically run out of everything and had put off getting new products for a while :P
So here are a few of my purchases :) Enjoy!

Barry M Nail Varnish - Black Croc Effects; Mint Green; Coral; Grey.

I love Barry M nail varnishes! I love their range of colours and nail effects and I also find that their nail varnish lasts a decent amount of time.
Firstly, I bought the Black Croc Effects nail varnish and it basically makes a crocodile skin effect pattern on your nails. It takes about 5 minutes to work though - I was worrying at first that it didn't work at all when I tried it, but it does work :) You also need to put a clear top coat over it to keep it in place.
The next one I bought was the Mint Green one which is my FAVOURITE one :) I just love how bright it is and how much it reminds me of spring. I've been wearing this colour non-stop for the past week.
Thirdly, I got the Coral colour - my sister has this one and I kept "borrowing" hers so I thought I should probably get my own before she notices ;)
Lastly, I bought the Grey one. On the nail it actually has a very slight teal tint to it which I actually like but it's definitely not the colour in the bottle :P

American Cream Conditioner and Curly Wurly Shampoo - LUSH

This was my first time ever buying anything in LUSH and I was really impressed with the products that I bought! Recently, my hair has been very dry and damaged and I just wanted something quite natural to revive it and make it look healthy again. I bought the Curly Wurly Shampoo which is a coconut-based product and smells absolutely AMAZING! It's strange actually, I didn't like the smell of it at first but now I really like it! The smell also lasts on your hair for days!!! I wasn't expecting it at all, so I'm quite chuffed with that :)
The American Cream Conditioner is a Vanilla-based conditioner and again, the smell lasts for a long time on my hair. Because I have curly hair, I only really condition my hair once a week, so this bottle should definitely last me a long time :) These two products mixed together in your hair is a match made in heaven!
They were quite expensive - that is the only downside I have, but I think that they are worth the money.

Boots Extracts Brazil Nut Body Scrub; The Body Shop Passionfruit Body Butter.

So I kind of neglected my skin over winter, which is really lazy/bad of me and of course, during our lovely sunny week in England the other week when I wanted to wear a skirt/shorts, I was horrified at how dry and unflattering my skin was!! I was like, OMG.. that's awful!! So I decided to buy the Brazil Nut Body Scrub from Boots so I could scrub away all my dead winter skin on my body and revitalise it. Words cannot describe how amazing this scrub smells!! It smells like dessert! I'm always so tempted to eat it! And it works a treat :)
I then went into the Body Shop and they were having a sale on some of their body butters; I primarily thought that they would be all the ones that don't actually smell that great, but I decided to smell them anyway and the passionfruit one was so nice!!! It's a bit like the satsuma one they do (I think it's a satsuma one :P ) but more subtle and not so overpowering citrousy. I think the other ones on sale were Blueberry, Ginger and another one I can't remember, but they were reduced from the original £12 to £5 which I thought was a really good bargain!!

So that's all I've bought beauty-wise, but I'll be doing another haul in a couple days to show all the clothes and jewellery that I have bought over the past month (I've seriously been spending waaaaay tooo much money!) So I hope you guys liked this blog post and I'll be writing again soon. :)

My Christmas Wish List :)
Hey guys, sorry we haven't blogged in a while, but we've been so busy! Lauren's at uni and I'm working for my gap year. So. I thought I would give you all a look into my xmas wish list :)  There are so many items on which I am completely undecided still, for example the shoes and coats, and I'll probs have to decide really soon! Enjoy! X
Other Bits and Bobs that I'm going to ask for. I don't think I'll be getting all of them at all, that would be very demanding of me :P I REALLY want the navy Joules scarf though asap so I might just buy that with my own money - I've tried it on and it's SO nice and warm. It's also really thick and knitted. I also need a new bra, so I thought the cute flowery bra from Oysho would be perfect. Also, at the moment I'm really into mix and match edgy earrings so when I found the ones from Topshop I was like OMG! I'm also into edgy/unique looking jewellery so that's why the earrings and claw ring are on there too. I also NEED black high tops converse - they go with so many things and are a fashion essential I lack in :P As for makeup, I'm really into bronze colours, so I picked the three shown.

Right, I have to choose ONE coat out of these three! If I could, I would buy all three, but unfortunately I don't have enough money :(  I've tried all three on and all of them feel really comfortable. I love the mulled wine colour of the duffle coat and I could feel that it was very warm and comfortable, however, it is a lot of money, but I know that I will wear it all the time and get some good use out of it for years to come. My next option is the Hollister one. I love the fur on the hood and I love the interior pattern. It does come up very short compared to the other two coats but it's so much more casual and I could wear it in the spring as well when it's just a bit too warm for a big coat. My final option is the New Look parka. I didn't actually like the colour at first but when I tried it on it was very complementary for my skin tone. I like the fact that you can create a waist line with the waist belt and obviously it is by far the cheapest option... Hmmmm.... Ahh why can't I jusy buy all of them?

LOVE anything that is in Urban Outfitters - especially their jewellery! I basically want all of these pieces of jewellery, BUT they are quite pricey, even for my parents to buy me, so I might just wait for the January sales and take a trip up to Oxford street then.

I really need some flat heeled boots for the coming months. I only have some with a huge heel, which is a bit impractical for walking London for example. I really like both styles to be honest. It's going to take me a while to decide.... :P

So yeah, that's my xmas wish list for this year :) Of course, I'm not expecting all of it, but it would be nice to get a few bits etc :)

Ciao!

Haul!

Hi guys! A quick little post of a collective haul. Don't worry i didn't buy this all in one go :P. I've recently had a summer clear out, and took to the sales to buy some stuff that I've been in 'need' of ;)

First stop: Primark! I've been pleasantly surprised with this seasons collection, found quite a few bargains :)
Burnt orange shirt - £12 or maybe £14?
